24 Fosters Lager £10 with Tesco clubcard, thx to HUKD. I know it's like gnats piss these days, but it's ok for mixing with cider for a cheap snakebite.

As long as the cider is not also gnat's piss.
Gotta be Old Rosie, Westons, Diamond white, Fosters ice, scrumpy jack or other with similar strengths

Absolutely, you want a stronger cider to compensate for the 3.4% Fosters. I can remember when I first drank Fosters in the early 80's it used to be 5%. The tax law on beers these days is so annoying.

Diamond white little bottles was about 8% back in the day

Few bottles of Dog ( Newcastle Brown ) and a few Diamond white bottles you could feel it , but always been a happy drunk

But thinks it's a bit crazy as you can get a single Vod at 37.5% at the bar and fall about later

How the mighty are fallen. I remember when Fosters was actually drinkable.

That was about 40+ years ago though.
